I recently moved to the Indiana area. Actually, I have been here for about nine months. I have a tendency to wonder why people move here other than it often being referred to as a "Kid State." I have developed a new word for many people in the area..."Crackhead." One may ask what is a crackhead..I will define this for you and then lead into my story about hairstylist in Indy.
So, as I was saying, what is a "Crackhead." A "Crackhead" is anyone who you know who does inexplicable things, makes have a wtfm (what the F**** moment), someone who may be a stupid-visor, an employee of yours who often reminds of someone you would like to fire (as if you were Donald Trump), speaks out of turn, blurts out vulgarity out of the blue, or anyone who you generally have questions about their sanity. In short, it is what you want it to be.
Nevertheless, I had gone to a stylist and wanted what is called a "sew-in." This was not because I need extra hair because I plenty naturally grown. So, it is a hair stylist on convenience. The stylist I found works at Creative Cuts. She did my hair within two hours. Now, call me crazy, but someone with hair as long as mine you cannot do a "sew-in" within two hours. The joke was on me. This was the worst style ever although in appearance it looked okay. However, after carefully analyzing the hair after the fact...horrrible. I would strongly encourage her clients to rethink dealing with her on any level. She appears to have some issues that superpasses most.
In any event, I lost a lot of hair behind the horrible process with this stylist. Yet, I have found someone in the Indiana who is awesome!!!! Her name is Yvette Griffin from the Fort Wayne, Indiana area. She has been in Indy for almost as is the "Crackhead" State best kept secret. When I say that this woman loves God and fix anything....I really anything. My hair was flawless; which considering the state it was in....bless God is all I can say...
So, for all you African American Queens in Indy tired of sitting in the shop waiting on hairstylist who have drama...drama...and more drama....please seek help with Ms. Yvette. She can do it all. I am so thankful. When I moved to this state, for job relocation which will be another blog, I was told by one of girlfriend's from the Chi...it took her five years to find someone. So, she did not fool with the stylist in this Crackhead State....lol.....
I have had two hair styles with Ms. Yvette. I also sent a girlfriend who has had at least 30-50 compliments a day about this stylist....My only words...GO Girl!!!!! I will keep you posted on my updates and follow blog...My girlfriends hair is too flawless and every loves it....I am also getting great compliments about how healthy my hair is now...what a concept!!!!
